EYE HEALTH AND VISION ASSESSMENTS
YOU NEED TO SEE THE OPTOMETRIST IF:
You have pain in your eyes.
Your eyes are red, tearing or sensitive to light.
You have blurred vision.
You have headaches.
You have diabetes and notice changes in your vision.
You have a family history of glaucoma.
You have flashes of light or spots “floaters” in your vision.
It has been one year since your previous eye health exam and vision assessment.
In your examination, Dr. Hsiung will assess the health of your eyes and determine if there are any issues related specifically to your eyes such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration or if signs/symptoms are present due to systemic problems such as diabetes, hypertension, MS.
Your vision will be assessed to determine if corrective eyewear or contact lenses are necessary to obtain optimum clarity of vision. Dr. Hsiung will explain the appropriate lens required to achieve your visual needs that will enable you to complete your tasks, such as computer use, driving or reading.
